Phineas and Ferb Collection Debuts At Disney Store
The high energy animated series "Phineas and Ferb" launches Friday, February 1 and will air every night in the month of February on Disney Channel. Preview presentations of the series, created by noted animation producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh for Walt Disney Television Animation, delivered strong ratings among both boy and girl demographics and total viewers.
The product assortment spans colorful graphic tees, hats and sandals for kids age 8-12. Later this year, it expands to plush, pajamas, fleece and more.
The promotion includes colorful in-store window displays, Phineas and Ferb branded shopping bags, and free gift-with-purchase decals.
"Disney Store is pleased to be the first retailer to offer apparel and accessories featuring Disney Channel's newest kid and tween 'stars,' the appealing characters from 'Phineas and Ferb'," says Amy Hauk, Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager, Disney Store. "Based on kids' response thus far, we expect the apparel to be well-received among kids and parents."
